Core Responsibilities

  • Product Promotion: Schedule appointments with healthcare professionals and deliver presentations that detail product benefits, features, dosage, and possible side effects using scientific data and visual aids.
  • Sales and Target Achievement: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or surpass assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets within a specified geographical territory.
  • Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong, professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and medical staff to foster trust and encourage repeat business.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather feedback from clients, observe competitor activities, and monitor market trends to offer valuable insights to internal marketing and sales teams.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and expenses using CRM software. Ensure that all practices comply with industry regulations and ethical standards.
  • Education and Training: Organize and participate in medical conferences, workshops, and training sessions to remain current on medical advancements, products, and treatment guidelines.
  • Sample Distribution: Provide product samples and literature to healthcare professionals to promote trial and firsthand experience.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as pharmacy, life sciences, biology, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills for conveying complex medical information clearly and persuasively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build rapport and network with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.
  • Sales Acumen: Proficiency in negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving to address objections and achieve sales goals.
  • Knowledge: Thorough understanding of product details, medical terminology, and the healthcare industry.
  • Organization: Efficient time management, planning, and organizational skills to handle extensive travel and multiple client interactions.
  • Resilience: Capability to work under pressure, manage rejection, and stay self-motivated in a competitive environment.
